This last aim would be to encourage the
members to further their Masonic knowledge and disseminate it
to others. We would aim to dedicate a small part of each
meeting to an "educational topic" in allusion to our name,
"The Old School House Lodge". This would not be in the
nature of research, but rather "why do we do this", or "what
does that mean". Far too many Brethren, young and old, are
unaware of the many facets and facts of Freemasonry, and it
will be our aim to encourage a better understanding of these
by explanation, together with "question and answer" sessions.
We feel that, whilst recruiting new Freemasons is important,
holding on to them is essential. If we can give them a better
overview and understanding of our Craft, we stand a much
better chance of retaining them.

The Lodge emblem has a graphic
representation of Beaconsfield Masonic Centre flanked by the
two Great Pillars and surmounted by the square and compasses.
This symbolises the determination of the Lodge to ensure that,
with the blessing of the G.A.O.T.U., our Masonic home will
stand firm for ever.
